Last Friday we had “the final party” of the Bind 4.0 program. with the DemoDay. During the event, in addition to having its own stand, we were able to present DeciData with Euskaltel (our first big client, and “accomplices” in many of our adventures). With a pitch format, we exposed our services to authorities and heads of the most powerful industrial companies in Euskadi and what is our business approach within Big Data and advanced analytics. We also participated in the round table where the main challenges faced by large companies and start-ups in the development of collaborative projects were discussed.
The balance of the program cannot be more positive. We feel that it was great luck to have this opportunity and we want to thank the organization again for the mentors and of course Euskaltel for their trust.
In addition, the Big Data and Business program organized by the DBS (Deusto Business School) has already started at its headquarters in Madrid, of which we are Technical Directors and mentors of the project that the students will have to carry out. It has formed a fantastic group full of energy and desire to advance in this world. It is a joy to be part of this adventure.
And since we cannot sit still, we are already thinking about next month’s activities. On May 25 we will be, in the hands of Arteche, in ADEGI explaining the project we carried out with them to improve their industrial process within the framework of the day. Why do we insist on the benefits of big data for the industrial SME? . Finally, on June 7 DataBeers-Euskadi returns. Once again in Vitoria and with all the support of the local databirreros community, we hope to repeat the success of the last event and continue working to build a strong data community in Euskadi.
As always, below we leave you a series of articles that we hope will make you reflect.

In a month full of activities we want to highlight:
The DemoDay was a great opportunity to bring together all the Start-ups and large companies that have been part of the program, explain our progress and share the experience with authorities, large companies and other start-ups interested in participating in the second edition. It was a fantastic event and a great end to a great program of support for entrepreneurship.
The Post visited our offices and together with Leyre Bilbao, responsible for the promotion of innovation in Euskaltel, we explained the project we have carried out jointly within the framework of Bind 4.0. From our conversation with the journalist Ana Barandiarán, a beautiful article appeared that was published on May 1 in El Correo.
We visited the Mercedes and CAF plants in two days where we could see how we work in two of the most advanced plants in Euskadi. After the visit, we discussed the digitalization strategies of the different companies and the strategies they are proposing so that all the potential offered by the framework of the industry 4.0. becomes a real competitive advantage.
We participated in the Radio program of Eitb Grafitti, in which we were able to share the experience we have in DeciData and chat intendedly, and among other topics, about what we do in DeciData, what are the main challenges facing companies in the world of Advanced Analytics and what are the skills needed to become a data scientist. You can listen to the audio here , from minute 54:00.
